Site Owners are business users (not necessarily IT people), who are responsible for the content and management of a particular site. Each site can have one or more Site Owners - but it must have at least one. You can contact them about a site rather than have to contact your IT team.
Contacting Site Owners
When viewing information about a site (either when opening ProvisionPoint from the site, or finding it in the Directory), you'll see the Site Owners responsible for it:
Beneath each Site Owner, you'll notice an Email button. This will launch your default Email client and compose a new email to that Site Owner.
You can contact a Site Owner to ask them to make a change to a site, or to give you access.
